ePortfolio Part 1: Reflection

For the first curation of my Wix website, I decided to pursue option one where I met with an ePortfolio peer mentor to discuss possible changes I could make to my page. I chose this option because I wanted to meet with someone who could give me an outside opinion on the design choices I had made so far. I believe that second opinions, especially from someone knowledgeable in the field, are very valuable! I also chose this option because I wanted to meet with someone who knew more about the technicalities of creating a Wix page, as I don’t have much experience yet in webpage design.

In addition to the functionality improvements that were implemented to my ePortfolio, I also corrected all the information that needed to be brought up to date. I refined my bio, updated my resume with new references and skills, and input the details of the new business that I have started up this past year!

I believe that the changes I made to my ePortfolio have given it greater readability and stronger content. I am happy to know that my page has been made more accessible and user friendly to a wider audience, and I am especially happy that I got to discuss a future of greater accommodations for prospective users. I am hopeful that future employers will find my ePortfolio is one that stands out as considerate, concise, and well-developed. I know my page will only improve as I go throughout this course!
